ECSE308–Introduction-to-Communication-Systems-and-Networks
This reopository contains the laboratory projects done for the course ECSE 308, using Simulink and Wireshark.
Description
-
Lab0 - Introduction - Flashing the computer system onto the board and running the demo program
-
Lab1 - Signals and Noise - Investigation into the effect of different types of input (noise, cut-off frequency and bandwidth) on a system will be explored, using Simulink
-
Lab2 - Analog Modulation - Investigating AM and FM signal behaviors, using Simulink
-
Lab3 - Digital Modulation - Techniques to convert to-and-from digital data to an analog signal, and the impact on the signal-to-noise-ratio (SNR) and the bit error rate (BER) that is carried when converting. Techniques of digital modulation will be compared. The concept of M-Quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) will be observed to see its impact on a signal and observe efficiency
-
Lab4 - IP, DNS and UDP
-
Lab5 - DNS, UDP and HTTP
Built With
- Simulink - The graphical programming environment used for simulation
- Wireshark - The network protocol analyzer used
